Description: The CHICAGO SHIP NO. 1 was built in 1926 by American Ship Building Co. at Lorain, OH U.S. The Chicago Ship No. 1 is a steel hulled propeller driven vessel with a length of 41 feet, and a width of 12 feet. It displaces 17 tons, and has a load capacity of 12 tons. It entered service in the year 1926 under the ownership of Chicago Ship Building Co. of Chicago, IL U.S. The photograph shows the Chicago Ship No. 1 under way on the Great Lakes.
