Description: The ANDREW S. UPSON was built in 1909 by American Ship Building Co. at Cleveland, OH U.S. The Andrew S. Upson is a steel hulled propeller driven vessel with a length of 380 feet, and a width of 52 feet. It displaces 4442 tons, and has a load capacity of 3120 tons. It entered service in the year 1909 under the ownership of Tecumseh Steamship Co. of Cleveland, OH U.S. The vessel was removed from service with the following notation: Arrived under tow at Humberstone, Welland Canal, on May 28, 1964, for scrapping.
