Description: The LAKE FROHNA was built in 1919 by American Ship Building Co. at Lorain, OH U.S. The Lake Frohna is a steel hulled propeller driven vessel with a length of 251 feet, and a width of 43 feet. It displaces 2616 tons, and has a load capacity of 1611 tons. It entered service in the year 1919 under the ownership of U.S. Shipping Board of Washington, DC U.S. The vessel was removed from service with the following notation: Torpedoed off west coast of British Columbia, in position 50 degrees 20N x 131 degrees 32W, on June 26, 1944.
