Description: The HARRY E. PACKER was built in 1882 by Thomas Quayle's Sons at Cleveland, OH U.S. The Harry E. Packer is a wood hulled propeller driven vessel with a length of 225 feet, and a width of 35 feet. It displaces 1142 tons, and has a load capacity of 962 tons. The vessel was removed from service with the following notation: Stranded at Portneuf, St. Lawrence River, August 10, 1923, and became a total loss. The photograph shows the Harry E.
