The ELSA was built in 1895 by John E. Monk at Sandusky, OH U.S. The Elsa is a wood hulled propeller driven vessel with a length of 61 feet, and a width of 16 feet. It displaces 33 tons, and has a load capacity of 27 tons. The vessel was removed from service with the following notation: Enrollment transferred from Sandusky, OH, to New Orleans, LA, December 22, 1896. Dropped from LUSMV in 1897. No further record.
