The RECORD was built in 1884 by Globe Ship Building Co. at Cleveland, OH U.S. The Record is an iron hulled tug with a length of 68 feet, and a width of 17 feet. It displaces 59 tons, and has a load capacity of 30 tons. It entered service in the year 1885 under the ownership of Globe Ship Building Co. of Cleveland, OH U.S. The vessel was removed from service with the following notation: Removed from documentation in May, 1975, as scrapped.
