The YN-25 (REDWOOD) was built in 1942 by American Ship Building Co. at Lorain, OH U.S. The Yn-25 (Redwood) is a steel hulled propeller driven vessel with a length of 163 feet, and a width of 30 feet. It entered service in the year 1942 under the ownership of U.S. Navy of Washington, DC U.S. The vessel was removed from service with the following notation: Sold on June 13, 1974 to National Unity Marine Salvage Corp., New York, NY, for scrapping, along with two other AN's, for a total price of $73,930.18.
