dc.description The KANER was built in 1948 by Marks Welding Co. at Vermilion, OH U.S. The Kaner is a steel hulled propeller driven vessel with a length of 49 feet, and a width of 14 feet. It displaces 52 tons, and has a load capacity of 47 tons. It entered service in the year 1948 under the ownership of Hyman Kaner of Duluth, MN U.S. The photograph shows the Kaner at Superior, WI.
