Description: The FOREST CITY was built in 1870 by Elihu M. Peck at Cleveland, OH U.S. The Forest City is a wood hulled schooner with 3 masts, a length of 216 feet, and a width of 32 feet. It displaces 740 tons. The vessel was removed from service with the following notation: Stranded on Bear's Island, Georgian Bay, June 6, 1904, a total loss.
