Wolvin is a steel hulled propeller driven vessel with a length of 540 feet, and a width of 56 feet. It displaces 6585 tons, and has a load capacity of 5311 tons. It entered service in the year 1904 under the ownership of Acme Steamship Co. (A.B. Wolvin, Mgr.) of Duluth, MN U.S. The photograph shows the Augustus B. Wolvin under way on the Great Lakes.
