The P.L. JOHNSON was built in 1875 by Louis Lafrinnier at Cleveland, OH U.S. The P.L. Johnson is a wood hulled tug with a length of 98 feet, and a width of 22 feet. It displaces 159 tons, and has a load capacity of 79 tons. The vessel was removed from service with the following notation: Dismantled at Detroit, MI, in 1931; engine taken to Greenfield Museum.
