The PARANA was built in 1862 by Quayle & Martin at Cleveland, OH U.S. The Parana is a wood hulled bark with 3 masts, a length of 153 feet, and a width of 31 feet. It displaces 558 tons. The vessel was removed from service with the following notation: Final enrollment surrendered at Chicago, IL, March 21, 1904, and endorsed "abandoned."
