The PONTOON was built in 1913 by Great Lakes Towing Co. at Cleveland, OH U.S. The Pontoon is a steel hulled barge with a length of 100 feet, and a width of 40 feet. It displaces 476 tons, and has a load capacity of 405 tons. It entered service in the year 1913 under the ownership of Great Lakes Towing Co. of Cleveland, OH U.S. The vessel was removed from service with the following notation: Sold to Canadian buyers, 1959; presumed scrapped.
