Description: The RESOLUTE was built in 1916 by Great Lakes Engineering Works at Ashtabula, OH U.S. The Resolute is a steel hulled tug with a length of 135 feet, and a width of 30 feet. It displaces 453 tons, and has a load capacity of 219 tons. It entered service in the year 1916 under the ownership of Merritt & Chapman Derrick & Wrecking Co. of New York, NY U.S. The vessel was removed from service with the following notation: Scrapped in 1955.
