The ENGINEER NO. 4 was built in 1905 by Craig Ship Building Co. at Toledo, OH U.S. The Engineer No. 4 is a steel hulled tug (survey steamer) with a length of 67 feet, and a width of 15 feet. It displaces 34 tons. It entered service in the year 1905 under the ownership of Craig Ship Building Co. of Toledo, OH U.S. The vessel was removed from service with the following notation: Registry closed on June 12, 1963, and endorsed "vessel scrapped." The photograph shows the Engineer No. 4 under way on the Great Lakes.
