The THOMAS W. LAMONT was built in 1930 by Toledo Shipbuilding Co. at Toledo, OH U.S. The Thomas W. Lamont is a steel hulled propeller driven vessel with a length of 587 feet, and a width of 60 feet. It displaces 7964 tons, and has a load capacity of 6345 tons. It entered service in the year 1930 under the ownership of Pittsburgh Steamship Co. of Cleveland, OH U.S. The vessel was removed from service with the following notation: Sold by A.A.
