Description: The NORWAY was built in 1910 by Toledo Shipbuilding Co. at Toledo, OH U.S. The Norway is a steel hulled propeller driven vessel with a length of 504 feet, and a width of 58 feet. It displaces 6673 tons, and has a load capacity of 5314 tons. It entered service in the year 1910 under the ownership of U.S. Transportation Co. of Cleveland, OH U.S. The vessel was removed from service with the following notation: Cleared Owen Sound, Ontario, June 17, 1975, for Thunder Bay, Ontario, and scrapping by Western Metals Corp.
