dc.description The CHARLES L. HUTCHINSON was built in 1910 by American Ship Building Co. at Lorain, OH U.S. The Charles L. Hutchinson is a steel hulled propeller driven vessel with a length of 504 feet, and a width of 54 feet. It displaces 6377 tons, and has a load capacity of 4860 tons. It entered service in the year 1910 under the ownership of Henry Wineman, Jr. of Detroit, MI U.S. The photograph shows the Charles L. Hutchinson at St. Catherines.
