The GLADSTONE was built in 1888 by William R. Radcliffe at Cleveland, OH U.S. The Gladstone is a wood hulled propeller driven vessel with a length of 283 feet, and a width of 40 feet. It displaces 2112 tons, and has a load capacity of 1811 tons. It entered service in the year 1888 under the ownership of M.A. Bradley, et.al. of Cleveland, OH U.S. The vessel was removed from service with the following notation: Sold Canadian in 1924 and apparently dismantled.
