The SAMUEL MITCHELL was built in 1892 by Globe Iron Works at Cleveland, OH U.S. The Samuel Mitchell is a steel hulled propeller driven vessel with a length of 292 feet, and a width of 40 feet. It displaces 2277 tons, and has a load capacity of 1870 tons. It entered service in the year 1892 under the ownership of William Chisholm, et.al. of Cleveland, OH U.S. The vessel was removed from service with the following notation: Scrapped in 1994, in Muskegon.
