The LAKE FORKVILLE was built in 1919 by American Ship Building Co. at Cleveland, OH U.S. The Lake Forkville is a steel hulled propeller driven vessel with a length of 251 feet, and a width of 43 feet. It displaces 2624 tons, and has a load capacity of 1623 tons. It entered service in the year 1919 under the ownership of U.S. Shipping Board of Washington, DC U.S. The vessel was removed from service with the following notation: Scrapped by Ford Motor Co. at River Rouge, MI, in 1927.
