The SAINTE MARIE was built in 1913 by Toledo Shipbuilding Co. at Toledo, OH U.S. The Sainte Marie is a steel hulled propeller driven vessel with a length of 250 feet, and a width of 62 feet. It displaces 2383 tons, and has a load capacity of 1620 tons. It entered service in the year 1913 under the ownership of Mackinac Transportation Co. of St. Ignace, MI U.S. The vessel was removed from service with the following notation: Sold in 1961 to the Sadoff Co., Fond du Lac, WI, to be scrapped by Luria Brothers.
