Description: The INDIANAPOLIS was built in 1904 by Craig Shipbuilding Co. at Toledo, OH U.S. The Indianapolis is a steel hulled propeller driven vessel with a length of 180 feet, and a width of 32 feet. It displaces 765 tons, and has a load capacity of 520 tons. It entered service in the year 1904 under the ownership of Craig Shipbuilding Co. of Toledo, OH U.S. The vessel was removed from service with the following notation: Final enrollment surrendered at Seattle, WA, August 23, 1939, and endorsed "dismantled and abandoned as unfit for further use."
