The AM-114 (STAFF) was built in 1942 by American Ship Building Co. at Lorain, OH U.S. The Am-114 (Staff) is a steel hulled propeller driven vessel with a length of 221 feet, and a width of 32 feet. It entered service in the year 1942 under the ownership of United States Navy of Washington, DC U.S. The vessel was removed from service with the following notation: Stricken from Navy List on March 1, 1967. Sold on November 17, 1967 to Southern Scrap Metals Co., New Orleans, LA for scrapping. The photograph shows the Am-114 (Staff) at Lorain, OH.
