The ROBERT W. STEWART was built in 1928 by American Ship Building Co. at Lorain, OH U.S. The Robert W. Stewart is a steel hulled propeller driven vessel with a length of 379 feet, and a width of 52 feet. It displaces 4161 tons, and has a load capacity of 3025 tons. It entered service in the year 1928 under the ownership of Standard Oil Co. (IN) of Whiting, IN U.S. The photograph shows the Robert W. Stewart under way on the Great Lakes.
