The CAPTAIN FRED L. PERRY was built in 1919 by Rocky River Dry Dock Co. at Rocky River, OH U.S. The Captain Fred L. Perry is a wood hulled propeller driven vessel with a length of 101 feet, and a width of 23 feet. It displaces 177 tons, and has a load capacity of 137 tons. It entered service in the year 1919 under the ownership of U.S. Army (Quartermaster Dept.) of see memo.
