Description: The CAPTAIN FRED L. PERRY was built in 1919 by Rocky River Dry Dock Co. at Rocky River, OH U.S. The Captain Fred L. Perry is a wood hulled propeller driven vessel with a length of 101 feet, and a width of 23 feet. It displaces 177 tons, and has a load capacity of 137 tons. It entered service in the year 1919 under the ownership of U.S. Army (Quartermaster Dept.) of see memo. The vessel was removed from service with the following notation: Dismantled and scrapped in 1947. The photograph shows the Captain Fred L. Perry at Rocky River, OH; Rocky River Dry Dock Co.
