Description: The HENRY W. OLIVER was built in 1899 by Cleveland Ship Building Co. at Lorain, OH U.S. The Henry W. Oliver is a steel hulled propeller driven vessel with a length of 444 feet, and a width of 50 feet. It displaces 4909 tons, and has a load capacity of 3617 tons. It entered service in the year 1899 under the ownership of Wilson Transit Co. of Cleveland, OH U.S. The vessel was removed from service with the following notation: Towed from Toronto to Hamilton, Ont., on March 28, 1967 for scrapping by Steel Co. of Canada, Ltd.
