The COURTNEY L. was built in 1909 by American Ship Building Co. at Lorain, OH U.S. The Courtney L. is a steel hulled tug with a length of 61 feet, and a width of 16 feet. It displaces 48 tons, and has a load capacity of 33 tons. It entered service in the year 1909 under the ownership of Booth Fisheries Co. of Chicago, IL U.S. The vessel was removed from service with the following notation: Removed from documentation as "abandoned," March-April, 1969.
