Description: The J.L. GREEN was built in 1875 by O. Harper at Port Clinton, OH U.S. The J.L. Green is a wood hulled schooner with 2 masts, a length of 90 feet, and a width of 27 feet. It displaces 89 tons, and has a load capacity of 85 tons. The vessel was removed from service with the following notation: Final enrollment surrendered at Port Huron, MI, June 30, 1914, and endorsed "unfit for further service." The photograph shows the J.L.
