The WALTER H. STONE was built in 1889 by John E. Monk at Sandusky, OH U.S. The Walter H. Stone is a wood hulled propeller driven vessel with a length of 64 feet, and a width of 16 feet. It displaces 35 tons, and has a load capacity of 17 tons. The vessel was removed from service with the following notation: Disappeared from the Canadian List of Shipping in 1940.
