The TORRENT was built in 1869 by Elihu M. Peck at Cleveland, OH U.S. The Torrent is a wood hulled tug with a length of 115 feet, and a width of 21 feet. It displaces 203 tons, and has a load capacity of 140 tons. The vessel was removed from service with the following notation: Abandoned in 1915.
