The LAKE ELPUEBLO was built in 1919 by Great Lakes Engineering Works at Ashtabula, OH U.S. The Lake Elpueblo is a steel hulled propeller driven vessel with a length of 253 feet, and a width of 43 feet. It displaces 2674 tons, and has a load capacity of 1664 tons. It entered service in the year 1919 under the ownership of U.S. Shipping Board of Washington, DC U.S. The vessel was removed from service with the following notation: Stranded near Quillayute Needles, near Giant's Graveyard, Cape Flattery, WA, on April 1, 1943, on voyage from Vladivostok for Seattle.
