Description: The BOB ANDERSON was built in 1862 by Ira Laffrinier at Cleveland, OH U.S. The Bob Anderson is a wood hulled tug with a length of 100 feet, and a width of 19 feet. It displaces 175 tons. The vessel was removed from service with the following notation: Burned to total loss at Grand Marais, MN, on July 29, 1899. The photograph shows the Bob Anderson under way on the Great Lakes.
