The TEMPEST was built in 1884 at Cleveland, OH U.S. The Tempest is an iron hulled tug. It displaces 9 tons, and has a load capacity of 4 tons. It entered service in the year 1901 under the ownership of Cleveland Sawmills Co., Ltd. of Sarnia, Ont. Canada. The vessel was removed from service with the following notation: Passed out of existence; registry closed on September 8, 1920. Certificate of Registry not delivered up.
