The ARGO was built in 1901 by Craig Ship Building Co. at Toledo, OH U.S. The Argo is a steel hulled propeller driven vessel with a length of 173 feet, and a width of 31 feet. It displaces 1089 tons, and has a load capacity of 740 tons. The vessel was removed from service with the following notation: Last record in 1938, out of Brest, France. Ultimate disposition unknown.
