The RICHARD V. LINDABURY was built in 1923 by American Ship Building Co. at Lorain, OH U.S. The Richard V. Lindabury is a steel hulled propeller driven vessel with a length of 586 feet, and a width of 60 feet. It displaces 7940 tons, and has a load capacity of 6213 tons. It entered service in the year 1923 under the ownership of Pittsburgh Steamship Co. of Cleveland, OH U.S. The vessel was removed from service with the following notation: Arrived under tow at Aliaga for scrapping on September 14, 1988.
