The MARISKA was built in 1890 by Globe Iron Works at Cleveland, OH U.S. The Mariska is a steel hulled propeller driven vessel with a length of 282 feet, and a width of 40 feet. It displaces 2325 tons, and has a load capacity of 1835 tons. It entered service in the year 1890 under the ownership of Minnesota Steamship Co. of Cleveland, OH U.S. The vessel was removed from service with the following notation: Scrapped by Steel Co. of Canada, Ltd., at Hamilton, Ontario, in 1961.
