Description: The GRAND HAVEN was built in 1903 by Craig Ship Building Co. at Toledo, OH U.S. The Grand Haven is a steel hulled car ferry propeller with a length of 306 feet, and a width of 54 feet. It displaces 2320 tons, and has a load capacity of 1678 tons. It entered service in the year 1903 under the ownership of Grand Trunk Carferry Line of Milwaukee, WI U.S. The vessel was removed from service with the following notation: Laid up in Spring, 1965, at old Pennsylvania Dock, Cleveland, OH; later moved to dockage in Old River Bed. Sank at dock, September 19, 1969; raised on November 5, 1969. Sold to Marine Salvage, Ltd., and passed down, Port Colborne, November 28, 1969, in tow of tugs G.W. ROGERS and HERBERT A.
