The OHIO was built in 1910 by Great Lakes Towing Co. at Cleveland, OH U.S. The Ohio is a steel hulled tug with a length of 71 feet, and a width of 20 feet. It displaces 112 tons, and has a load capacity of 61 tons. It entered service in the year 1910 under the ownership of Great Lakes Towing Co. of Cleveland, OH U.S. The vessel was removed from service with the following notation: Crushed against a concrete dock at Buffalo, NY, in November, 1954, by propeller W.F. WHITE, setting her in 18 inches. Taken to Cleveland, OH, and scrapped. The photograph shows the Ohio at Buffalo, NY.
