Description: The ERIE ISLE was built in 1951 by Rudd Machine Co. at Cleveland, OH U.S. The Erie Isle is a steel hulled propeller driven vessel with a length of 61 feet, and a width of 24 feet. It displaces 59 tons, and has a load capacity of 40 tons. It entered service in the year 1951 under the ownership of Erie Isles Ferry Co. of Middle Bass Island, OH U.S. The photograph shows the Erie Isle at Put-In-Bay, OH.
