The E.P. WILBUR was built in 1888 by Globe Iron Works at Cleveland, OH U.S. The E.P. Wilbur is a steel hulled propeller driven vessel with a length of 290 feet, and a width of 40 feet. It displaces 2633 tons, and has a load capacity of 1902 tons. It entered service in the year 1888 under the ownership of Lehigh Valley Transit Co. of Buffalo, NY U.S. The vessel was removed from service with the following notation: Dropped from Lloyd's in 1924 and presumed scrapped. The photograph shows the E.P. Wilbur under way on the Great Lakes.
