The GOPHER STATE was built in 1956 by Hans Hansen Welding Co. at Toledo, OH U.S. The Gopher State is a steel hulled tug with a length of 34 feet, and a width of 12 feet. It displaces 17 tons, and has a load capacity of 13 tons.
