The PASTIME was built in 1889 by Moses Bowe at Toledo, OH U.S. The Pastime is a wood hulled steamer (sidewheel) with a length of 161 feet, and a width of 28 feet. It displaces 558 tons, and has a load capacity of 493 tons. The vessel was removed from service with the following notation: Final enrollment surrendered at Toledo, OH, December 31, 1903, and endorsed "abandoned." Hull stripped and taken to Detroit, MI, reportedly for service as a garbage scow. The photograph shows the Pastime under way on the Great Lakes.
