The PRICE MCKINNEY was built in 1908 by American Ship Building Co. at Lorain, OH U.S. The Price Mckinney is a steel hulled propeller driven vessel with a length of 432 feet, and a width of 54 feet. It displaces 5250 tons, and has a load capacity of 3927 tons. It entered service in the year 1908 under the ownership of J.J. Rarden of Chicago, IL U.S. The vessel was removed from service with the following notation: Sold through Marine Salvage, Ltd., Port Colborne, Ont., to Eisen und Metall A.G., for scrapping. Arrived in tow at Hamburg, Germany, July 17, 1961, for scrapping. The photograph shows the Price Mckinney at Lake St. Clair.
