dc.description The OLYMPIA was built in 1889 by Thomas & Sons Quayle at Cleveland, OH U.S. The Olympia is a propeller driven vessel with a length of 276 feet, and a width of 41 feet. It displaces 2065 tons, and has a load capacity of 1723 tons. The vessel was removed from service with the following notation: Abandoned in 1921. The photograph shows the Olympia under way on the Great Lakes.
