The KITTIE DOWNS was built in 1890 by James Laird at Ashtabula, OH U.S. The Kittie Downs is a wood hulled tug with a length of 63 feet, and a width of 16 feet. It displaces 34 tons, and has a load capacity of 16 tons. It entered service in the year 1890 under the ownership of William Downs of Ashtabula, OH U.S. The vessel was removed from service with the following notation: Abandoned and dismantled in 1917.
