The METAMORA was built in 1864 by Peck & Masters at Cleveland, OH U.S. The Metamora is a wood hulled tug with a length of 121 feet, and a width of 21 feet. It displaces 300 tons. The vessel was removed from service with the following notation: Burned at mouth of Shawanaga Bay, Ontario, Georgian Bay, on September 29, 1907.
