The GEORGIA was built in 1916 by Great Lakes Towing Co. at Cleveland, OH U.S. The Georgia is a steel hulled tug with a length of 71 feet, and a width of 20 feet. It displaces 98 tons, and has a load capacity of 51 tons. It entered service in the year 1916 under the ownership of Great Lakes Towing Co. of Cleveland, OH U.S. The vessel was removed from service with the following notation: Dropped from documentation in September, 1966, as scrapped. Scrapped at Ashtabula, OH, by Acme Iron & Metal Co. The photograph shows the Georgia at Ashtabula, OH.
