The CHIPPEWA was built in 1953 by Hans Welding Hansen at Toledo, OH U.S. The Chippewa is a steel hulled tug with a length of 34 feet, and a width of 12 feet. It displaces 14 tons, and has a load capacity of 11 tons. It entered service in the year 1953 under the ownership of Drummond Dolomite, Inc. of Sheboygan, WI U.S. The photograph shows the Chippewa at Toledo, OH.
