Description: The LASALLE was built in 1890 by Cleveland Ship Building Co. at Cleveland, OH U.S. The Lasalle is a steel hulled propeller driven vessel with a length of 266 feet, and a width of 38 feet. It displaces 1921 tons, and has a load capacity of 1596 tons. It entered service in the year 1890 under the ownership of Lake Superior Iron Mining Co. of Marquette, MI U.S. The vessel was removed from service with the following notation: Scrapped at Hamilton, Ontario, in 1961 by Steel Co. of Canada, Ltd.
